HYPER X - WE’RE ALL GAMERS
My task for HyperX involved 2D and 3D scene building, light cel animating for explosions, camera work, and compositing.
Once given the cel animated characters, I would match their movements in Cinema4D using basic planes and cubes as reference points to build out a camera. Once the camera data and nulls were exported and brought into After Effects, I built each background, as well as composite and animate the explosions to blend the scenes together with the flat cel. Upon completion of one, the team was extremely happy with the quality and speed of production, and I was later tasked to handle the majority of the remaining streamers.
